The GMP Excelam 1080R is a 42" wide format hot/cold laminator that offers a high quality, cost effective laminating solution to even the most novice user. The 1080R is designed with a user-friendly digital touch pad that controls both temperature and speed. It is capable of single sided laminating, encapsulation and mounting (up to 3/16") of digital inkjet output using both thermal films and pressure sensitive films making it an ideal laminating solution for printers and copy shops.
The GMP Excelam 1080R features:
- Independent temperature control of both top and bottom rollers
- User-friendly temperatuer control panel indicating temperature, speed and ready/wait condition
- Ability to laminate up to 10mil in thickness
- Roller gap handle that allows for mounting up to 3/16" in thickness
- Rewind roller that assists in take-up of pressure sensitive release liner
- Heated rollers for more consistent heating
- 3" Core Film Compatibility
- Cooling fans to ensure no-curl lamination
